Wagamama. Chaos. Breathe.
Eating out has never been the same post-baby. It was once quite a relaxing affair, a glass of Pinot blush in one hand while leisurely eating at a normal, enjoyable pace...
Now, we take turns eating, shovelling in forkfuls and attempting a conversation about how we can get around the shops as quickly and efficiently as possible, while pushing the cutlery further and further out of reach until it falls off the other side of the table. BUT all of the chaos quickly fades when given a simple moment like this. Just me, my boy and our (shared) green juice. When there’s this, I’ll take hectic dining all day long. (I might add, the couple next to us had a little girl the same age as Joey who sat in her highchair quietly and calmly the whole time we were there. I realise our not-so-calm experience might reflect badly on our parenting skills. And yes, there had been a huge spillage of water across the table that the Wagamama menus did their best to soak up). • #eatingout #weekendvibes #hecticdining#mum #mumlife #mumsofinstagram#realifemama #parenting #motherhood#motherhoodunplugged #toddlerspam#instamum #toddlerlife#toddlersofinstagram
